Tantus Uncut #1 Review
Some toys I try and I know almost immediately if it’s a new love affair or a waste of sex toy space. And then some toys, like the Tantus Uncut #1, take a little more thorough exploration to make my mind up. Although in this case it was deciding whether I loved it or actually just kinda liked it. Whether it was worthy of my bedside drawer with my sex toy créme de la créme, or doomed for the sex toy storage boxes I rarely venture. Maybe it was down to my expectations more than anything? This dildo had been way up on my want list since I first laid eyes on it. Not only a member of Tantus’ dual density O2 line but featuring an intact foreskin as well. Realistically representing the penises I am accustomed to as an English lady.
Tantus doesn’t seem to go into the whole luxury packaging thing. Which means you know your hard earned money is going on the contents of the box, rather than the actual box. The cardboard box still features a bright and fun design and the Tantus Uncut #1 is very happily nestled in plastic within. Erect and ready to play.
The design is what made the Tantus Uncut #1 so high on my sex toy wishlist. The price is what made it stay there for so long. As opposed to being where I wanted it; Inside me. All the penises I have seen in the flesh have one thing in common. Can you guess what that might be? A foreskin. So to find a realistic dildo which represents my personal reality is fantastic. And I’m even more impressed to see this innovation come from an American manufacturer, where circumcision is a lot more common. Does the extra flesh (silicone) add to the Uncuts pleasure though? Well, no. At least no more than any other dildo with a bulge at the head.
Whilst I used the Tantus Uncut #1 for vaginal play I can’t help thinking the 7.45 inch insertable length may be more beneficial for anal play and strap ons. Unfortunately a 5.5 inch circumference is a good 2 inches above my anal capabilities. The length doesn’t go unappreciated though, I can use the extra as a handle, making thrusting easier and more forgiving on my hand.
The attention to detail involved in the crafting of the Tantus Uncut #1 is beyond impressive. With a realism to the body safe silicone shaft I’ve never seen before on a dildo. And whilst this makes it divine in design, the heavy texture does make this dildo come with an intense amount of friction. Not even my finest lube adds my desired amount of glide to the Uncut. That, and it attracts dust and lint like a magnet. But what silicone sex toy doesn’t?
So what’s this Dual Density O2 Line all about? Well, it’s awesome. The inner core of the Tantus Uncut #1 is rigid, making it easier to insert, control and stroke those sweet spots. But the outer layer is soft and squidgy, making play more comfortable, more gentle and more penis like. Despite it’s rigid core, the Uncut does not stand alone on it’s flared base. It does hang beautifully from a harness though! I’ve been wanting to try something from this range of Tantus toys for ages and I was not disappointed.
Riding the Tantus Uncut #1
When I’m using a sex toy vaginally I tend to have a preference for riding it if the circumference exceeds 5.5 inches. I find this girth uncomfortable to thrust but a gentle bop up and down is heavenly. The Tantus Uncut #1 was no exception to the rule. I was surprised though in how much it’s realism changed my frame of mind during play. Instead of mindlessly fantasizing the true penis like design led my brain to imagine every internal stroke was sexual penetration. And those internal strokes were oh so good. Once it was lubed up like I’ve never known to make up for the frictionful texture.
In this position I was most able to appreciate the length internally. Lowering myself until I was filled to my limit. Just reaching my a spot but falling short on intense stimulation. The soft outer layer makes firm stimulation of the internal sweet spots difficult to achieve. This included my g spot. But the filling sensation and the rub of the heavy texture has a realistic pleasure no worse, only different.
Thrusting The Tantus Uncut #1
As I mentioned already, this isn’t my favourite way to use the Tantus Uncut #1. I’ve tried laying on my back and thrusting it a few times but always find I settle into a much more comfortable and pleasurable rolling motion. It seems no amount of lube will tame the Uncuts friction. But whilst I hold the excess shaft and stroke my g spot with a rhythmic flick of the wrist, I’m set for multiple orgasms in minutes. It doesn’t stimulate with the ferocity of a rigid dildo but with the quiet comfort of soft silicone. The intensity may not be there but the results are undeniable.
I’d been yearning for the Tantus Uncut #1 for years, so it had a lot of expectation to live up to. And whilst I can’t say I was disappointed, I don’t see it as a staple of my sex toy collection for anything other than it’s appearance. I am in awe of the craftsmanship behind the design but can’t help feeling less wowed at the sensations than I had hoped. I can say that it’s a toy that I will use for deep play during ovulation. Since harder toys are painful and it surpasses the pleasures of any other long, soft dildos I own. I stand by believing this would be most pleasurable for anal play. And I will definitely experiment with my Uncut, my harness and my partner in the near future.
