Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant Review
The folk over at Wicked Sensual Care absolutely spoiled me with a shocking 9 bottles of lube to review. I’m going to be a busy girl! From flavoured, to temperature play, to anal, they covered all the intimacy basis. Since I’m a sucker for a slippery solo session the first lube I had a good experiment with was the Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant. A lot goes into a great lube and a lot needs to be left out of it too. Whilst Wicked Sensual Care skip most of those lube nasties that dominant the industry, they do include prypolene glycole. Prone to yeast infections? This isn’t for you.
This is a pump bottle Wicked Sensual Care can be proud of. Pump dispensers are great for minimising mess and this one is so easy to control too. Need a tiny drop of lube? No problem. Facing a dong of mighty proportions? A couple of pumps will do. From its plastic black and purple bottle is dispensed the exact amount you need. And I can even do it one-handed. The bottle contains 100ml which is more than enough to see me through a couple of months of slipping sex toys.
The Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant is thick but water based. It’s gel like consistency means you have complete control over where the crystal clear liquid goes. It won’t drip down your toys, causing the handle to become slippery too. At least not at first. When riding toys, I found during use it does get a little drippier. But in this case it doesn’t matter anyway right? Not only is the consistency gloopy and gliding, it keeps that glide too. No amount of rubbing or thrusting will result in stick with this lube. Believe me. I’ve tried. It really impressed me just how long-lasting it is.
The first tests any reviewer will do on a lubricant is taste and smell. They might not affect how well a lubricant works but they sure can make a difference. If you’ve ever given oral with a nasty tasting lube, you’ll know what I mean. Thankfully the Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant is totally fragrance free. I couldn’t smell a thing. Even with it stuck right under my nostrils. As for taste? Well. Lets just say if oral was on the cards, this lube wouldn’t be coming out. It’s not terrible but I sure as hell don’t want a mouthful of the stuff.
I have used this lube internally, externally, with dildos and with vibrators. In multiple positions and for various amounts of time. And not once has it disappointed me. Not once did it need reapplying. I even tried it with a dildo that’s girth made my vagina cringe at the thought. But it glided inside me like a dream. Although I’m not an anal kinda girl I wouldn’t have any concerns using the Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant for backdoor play too. It’s just so thick and gloopy and slidey and, well, amazing.
A selling point used in the marketing of the Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant is the fact that it conducts vibrations. I have to admit the gel consistency has been perfect for use with my vibrators. I haven’t found the vibes to dull in any way. Not clitorally or vaginally.
Unfortunately, it’s not all praises for the Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant. Remember how I said it’s not for you if you’re prone to yeast infections? For me I’ve had no irritation whatsoever. But when used for sex, my partner complained of feeling ‘thrushy’ post play. It was short-lived even without treatment. But still, itching genitals is no fun.
As a sex toy lubricant it ticks all my boxes. It’s thick, gloopy consistency is long-lasting and relieves friction. It does what a great lube should do. It’s simple to dispense and helped me glide intimidatingly large toys inside me with ease. I just wish it was kinder on sensitive genitals, then I could say it was perfect.
If your genitals aren’t sensitive and you’d like some slippery solo fun you can purchase the Wicked Toy Love Gel Lubricant here for $11.99
