2017 – Stats, Resolutions & Highlights

I’m going to start this post by telling you all something I never thought I would. It is really the only way for me to convey just how wonderful 2017 was for me. And why I’m starting 2018 feeling better about myself than I probably ever have before. Seven years ago I attempted to go to college to study business and finance. It took me about 2 months to fall into extreme exhaustion, anxiety and depression. I couldn’t cope with all the people. I broke down every time I got something minutely wrong. I was so much of a mess that I ended up being hospitalised. After that, I stopped believing I was capable of doing much at all. No more than what I had to do. Why risk doing more? Only to fail and make myself unwell again.

Late 2016 I started my blog and by the beginning of 2017, I realised I wasn’t going to fail. I knew no matter the setback, no matter the challenge, I wasn’t going to let myself down. I have been hurt, triggered, angered, ashamed and afraid. I have felt like a failure amongst a sea of successful bloggers. But, not once did I let those feelings stop me. And now as 2017 ends, I can see that it was the year I proved myself to me. It was the year I built belief in myself and saw that I actually have potential to achieve my dreams.

This year I am going back into education. And this time I’m not afraid of failure. I know I can do it. And it is because of my blog.

So, with that cheesy business out the way, let’s talk about stats and resolutions.

Here are some random facts for 2017…

Most Popular Post – Household Sex Toys – Get Frisky on a Budget

Least Popular Post – February Favourites – Pinwheels, Candles & Crime Shows

Most Popular Review – The Dodil Review

Most Popular Sinful Sunday – Imperfections Are Perfect

Most Traffic From – United States

Best Sex Toys I Tried – Womanizer W500, Sola Cue, Dodil, Njoy Fun Wand

And My Resolutions…

  1. Do more pelvic floor exercises.
  2. Read at least one book a month.
  3. Keep blogging!

Yeah, so I’m not really one for resolutions. Last year I chose a word, ‘Stamina’ and at least for the first half of the year, I remembered it whenever I felt myself slipping. I prefer to have small, achievable goals.

Here are my year’s highlights…

  • Attending Eroticon
  • Guesting on All The Sex Podcast & Proud To Be Kinky Podcast
  • Reaching Number 42 on the Kinkly Top 100 Sex Blogger List
  • Reaching Number 31 on MollysDailyKiss Top 100 Sex Blogger List
  • Skinny dipping for the first time
  • Trying Wax Play for the first time

And I am sure lots more! Thank you so much to every person that has supported me this past year. I appreciate you all so much and I wish every one of you a fantastic 2018!
